What's A Girl To Do -Bat For Lashes
Was supposed to go to my uncle's office because my uncle have a client from Universal Studios coming to do a recording session but I didn't. Well, the client cancelled it last minute anyway. But I decided to spend the say with my friends instead.
The day started with a trip to Ikea Queenstown with Raudha and Shafiq, just for the heck of it. Well apparently Raudha wanted to look for something so that her mother can buy it for her. And until know, I still don't know what was that 'something' she was looking for. As for me, I'm still looking for a glass casing/box. Something like the one shown below.
Ikea's interior designs give you this warm and cozy feeling, which I like a lot.
I used to love riding in one of these when I was small. It's just like an indoor swing. Only 'deadlier'. Heh.
And these alien night lights are so cute! You have to charge them first for it to illuminate on its own overnight. And there's a switch as well. Just press their heads. Haha! Too bad they cost $29 each. If only it were cheaper, I would have bought all 3.

I was observing the pictures. Realised they actually used the EXACT same picture for the girl in the 2 pictures.
Mittens!
I was having fun playing with the lights. Shafiq as well. Haha.
After covering the whole of Ikea (somewhat), we left the place, as I was getting hungry. We headed to Anchorpoint opposite Ikea, planning to eat at LJS as I was having a craving for the Cajun chicken thingy, furthermore with Shafiq who brought along his LJS coupons. Surveyed the whole of the 1st and basement hoping to find the place but we ended up exploring around. And we were getting frustrated that there wasn't any directory anywhere within the mall. We stopped by Comics Connection and some novelties shop.
Since we couldn't find LJS, we decided to head for MacDonalds at Queensway. And guess what?
THE FREAKING DIRECTORY IS LOCATED OUTSIDE THE MALL! Nice, so if I need to know a particular shop, I need to head all the way outside just to find out where it is located.
Carry on...
Using the coupons I brought, we pampered ourselves. Heh, well Raudha had to leave as her boyfriend was picking her up, leaving only me and Shafiq.
I shall not say what I ordered. Instead, Shafiq's meal is the one worth mentioning. As the coupon allowed us to have a free item on top of the EVM, guess what Shafiq ordered?
A Mega Mac! Well, he just slot a Cheeseburger in between the top layer of the Big Mac.
Shafiq raped the burger!
And I'm surprised he managed to eat it like that, despite having a mess of lettuce on the floor. Haha.
As we were meeting Linus, Verdell and Sky at City Hall, we made our way there. Sebastian joined as well.
Initial plan was to eat dinner at Swensens. But due to complications, we bought our own food. A 'multi-racial' potluck. In a sense that Verdell bought LJS, Sky bought Burger King, I bought Mac (again), Shafiq bought KFC and Linus bought Subway. If you count in Sebas who got Pie Kia for free as well...
Anyway, we made our way to Esplanade. Wanted to go to the rooftop but it was closed, probably for shooting. Deduction made from the Mediacorp van parked outside. So we went to the open air auditorium (is that what it is called?) and sat there.
Oh ya, and in celebration of the Mosaic festival, we saw these cool stick dudes.
And that's me on the drums.
We really had fun, especially when the games started. The usual kind of get-together games where if you were to be the loser, you will have to answer posed by either of us honestly. But hey, what started there ended there. The policy of get-together games. =)
It started to get late, and so we started to pack up. And Luna was shining ever so brightly in the sky, uncovered by the tainted puffs. And it was shining so bright, we could see a curve of rainbow being reflected onto the nearby clouds. And Sebastian wanted to take a picture of it. So I suggested using my digital camera. And my digicam is VERY bad at taking night mode shots, so this was what came up.
Then he got an idea.
And this is what I call... MOON DOODLES!
Because my camera takes a few seconds to gather as much light as it can before the picture is taken, he took that moment to 'draw' or rather just move about the camera and 'draw'. Here are some of the doodles we got. Use your imagination as well. =)

And I saved the best for last! This was actually one of the first few pictures taken by Sebastian. If you turn it upside down, it actually looks like a bird flying in the air! Cool shit huh? And don't try to turn your laptop or desktop screen upside down. You'll look retarded.
And I shall end this post with probably the only best and picture of the moon.
